Help & FAQ

Everything you need to get playing.

Quick answers for artists setting up their shows and for fans cheering them on. Pick where you fit in below.

Artists Getting started

From sign-up to your first live show.

1

Create your artist account

Sign up and fill in your name, genres, location and photo. Your account is created in a private, pending state.

2

Set up while you wait for approval

New artists are reviewed before going public. Meanwhile only you can see your account — build your profile and setlist so you're ready the moment you're approved.

3

Get approved & go live

You'll be notified as soon as you're approved. That unlocks discovery, going live and taking bookings.

Why isn't my account visible yet? +

Every new artist goes through a quick review before appearing publicly. Until then your account is in Pending review — only you can see it.

You can still do almost everything: complete your profile, add songs, set lyrics and chords. When you're approved you'll get a notification and instantly become discoverable.

Outward features — going live, appearing in search and accepting bookings — turn on automatically once you're approved.
How do I build my setlist? +

Open your setlist and add the songs you play. For each song you can set the lyrics, tempo and timing so everything's ready on stage.

  • Lyrics: tap a song to view or edit its lyrics.
  • Order: drag songs to arrange your set and add set breaks.
  • Chords: look up chords/tabs per song — see below.
How do the chords / tabs work? +

Tap the guitar / Chords button on any song to look up chords and tabs across Ultimate Guitar, Songsterr and e-chords.

  1. The first time, pick the exact version you want from the list.
  2. That version is saved to the song and opens straight in the Ultimate Guitar app (if installed) from then on.
  3. Need a different version later? Long-press the Chords button to choose again.
Tip: install the Ultimate Guitar app for the smoothest experience — saved chords deep-link right into it.
How do I go live? +

Once your account is approved, open the camera, switch to Live mode and start broadcasting to your fans. Make sure you allow camera and microphone access.

While your account is still pending, going live is disabled — you'll see a note letting you know it unlocks after approval.

How do fans tip me, and how do I get paid? +

Fans can tip your songs during a show. To receive tips you first need to add and verify your bank account in the app.

Until your bank is verified, tipping stays switched off on your songs — set it up once and you're ready to earn.

Sharing your page & inviting fans +

Use the QR code in the menu to share your artist page — fans scan it to find you instantly. You can also invite fans directly from the menu.

Gigs, offers & bookings +

Browse open gigs, receive and respond to offers, and manage your confirmed dates from your calendar. If a gig is already booked by another artist, you can add yourself to its standby list.

Fans Enjoying the show

Find artists, shape the setlist and support your favorites.

How do I find an artist? +

Search for artists in the app, or scan an artist's QR code at a venue to jump straight to their page and live setlist.

How do I request or vote for a song? +

Open an artist's setlist during their show and vote for the songs you want to hear. The most-requested songs rise to the top so the artist knows what the room wants.

How do I tip a song? +

If an artist has tipping enabled, you'll see a tip option on their songs while they're live. Tipping helps push a song up the list and shows the artist some love.

Can I watch artists live? +

Yes — when an artist is broadcasting you can watch their live stream right in the app and follow along with the setlist.

Can I share photos or videos from a show? +

You can capture photos and videos during a show. They're sent to the artist for approval before appearing, keeping their page curated.
